Crieff
Archery Club About Us: We are a small club based in Crieff. Our type of archery is “Recurve”. See this Recurve video We have access to both indoor and outdoor ranges through the generosity of Ardvreck School. Our indoor season meets regularly once a week whilst the outdoor season has two meetings per week, but one reserved for members only. Although we have no registered coaches or Child Protection Officer (CPO), we can provide basic tuition along with the necessary equipment. With regards to coaching, mentoring and archery advice etc., our Club President has had over 40 years experience in the sport, is a former Scottish Indoor Champion (1974) and was for 5 years a member of the Scottish Squad. We therefore have considerable resources for both the novice and experienced archer. Because we have no CPO, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult. Non-members are restricted to six visits. This is an insurance requirement and is not negotiable. We, regrettably, do not have facilities for the disabled. We are members of the Scottish Archery Association (SAA) and affiliated to Archery GB (formerly known as GNAS, Grand National Archery Society). Anyone interested in visiting our club should first contact the Secretary or other club committee member. |
